Job Description JM & Associates, Inc. is seeking an IT Compliance Manager at its headquarters in Deerfield Beach, FL. This position performs the annual IT risk assessment for the annual Model Audit Rule (MAR) assessment of internal controls over financial reporting. This position also oversees the relationship and work performed by the outside advisory firm including review of work performed in order to test the existence, design, and operating effectiveness of the ITGCs implemented to mitigate the risks identified as part of the IT risk assessment. Also, the position performs management's report testing, application, and spreadsheet controls testing, and provides assistance with other control testing for the core MAR team. In the future, if the ITGCs MAR assessment is decided to be performed in-house, this position will develop the audit plan, perform, and assign team members to audit tests and review work and progress against the audit objectives. This position will present or assist in presenting findings and recommendations and discuss their implications with management. This position may also provide consulting support for management as they implement new processes or other changes to design new or improve existing controls from the start of the process. This position provides leadership, support, and managerial review for subordinate staff if there is any. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform IT risk assessment for the annual MAR assessment of internal controls over financial reporting (similar to SOX compliance) Oversee the relationship and work performed by the outside advisory firm Perform key -report testing, application and spreadsheet controls testing Assist with other control testing the core MAR team In case the ITGCs MAR assessment is performed in-house:
develop the audit plan, perform and assign team members work, review work and monitor progress against the audit objectives Assist with presenting the IT risk assessment, findings, remediation planes, and their implications to management and/ or the Risk Committee Provide consulting support for management in relation to new process implementations or other changes to design new or improve existing controls Build effective working relationship with process owners Job Requirements Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Accounting, or similar major preferred. Active CISA or CPA required Minimum 9 years of IT SOX Compliance and minimum of 2 years audit manager experience in public accounting or internal audit Demonstrated knowledge of broad expertise in information technology auditing, including the areas of application controls, asset management, change management, data protection, disaster recovery and business continuity, logical security, network security, and vulnerability management Understanding of the COBIT, NIST, and COSO frameworks Strong process analysis, risk and control identification, and problem-solving skills Must possess strong analytical abilities as well as strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with data analysis tools, Excel, Power BI, Microsoft SQL, Cognos, Tableau, SAS or similar tools, is a plus Self-motivated with strong leadership skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with all levels of management and maintain strict confidentiality
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Auditing & Compliance, AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
