2K a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago The ideal candidate we are seeking as an Application Services Support QA Specialist, requires knowledge of the software development life cycle, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proactive attitude towards learning and skill development, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Prior experience or familiarity with Software QA methodologies and procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities Gain a comprehensive understanding of all in-house developed applications and their proper usage Provide direct support to end users, addressing their queries related to in-house developed applications and assisting in problem resolution Manage and respond to help desk tickets received by the Application Services group, including assessing the validity, scope, and priority of requests Engage with requestors to further clarify scope and requirements, when necessary Identify and document steps to reproduce reported issues/bugs, and communicate with requestors/users for additional information, if needed Actively participate in requirements gathering sessions, offering input from a QA perspective Identify, document, and track bugs throughout various environments, ensuring their resolution Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive testing strategies and procedures, encompassing manual testing, automated testing, and regression testing Collaborate closely with the Application Services Manager, upper management, and other internal stakeholders to fulfill daily tasks and deliverables Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills, as the candidate will be working closely with individuals at all levels of the organization, including upper management The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams Entry level with a degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or 1
