Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Summary:
The Director of Finance will work directly with Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches' Executive Team to create and provide timely and accurate financial reporting, forecasting, modeling, treasury management and analysis on all aspects of company's accounting and finance activities.
POSITION DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Implements company's financial policies and procedures.
o Directs the accumulation, recording, preparation and reporting of financial data; prepares, analyzes, and reconciles financial statements and related reports in a timely and accurate manner.
o Prepare and outline complex models into simple terms that others can work with.
o Create usable budgets for the business, including evaluating the needs of each department in the long term.
o Develops, interprets, and implements systems and processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
o Manages all budget process activities; forecasts all company operational and financial aspects.
o Coordinates all internal and external financial audits.
o Manages all accounting functions including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing.
o Provides specialized analyses in support of all business functions.
o Provides analysis and evaluation of business strategies; assists with company strategic planning.
o Supervises monthly balancing of books and monthly account reviews; prepares, analyzes and reconciles monthly financial statements.
o Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress.
o Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
o Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
o Hire and oversee leaders in the finance and accounting departments, including giving directions and delivering periodical evaluations.
Assists with special projects as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE o Master of Business Administration or a master's degree in Finance or bachelor's degree in finance with extensive training and a proven track record of success in finance.
o Minimum five (5) years related work experience in the healthcare space.

years' experience preferred.
o Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
o Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization.
o Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.
o Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
o Ability to work with all levels of management.
o Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
o Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
o Proven leadership and business acumen skills o Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
o Commitment to excellence and high standards.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
