Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Nights
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for a position at our Substance Use Disorder facility located in Deerfield Beach, FL
This position is ideal for candidates seeking a full-time NIGHT position
Qualifications
- Experience working in behavioral health, addition and/ or substance abuse setting required
- Graduate from accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of Associate Degree
- Current Florida State License as Registered Nurse
- IV & Phlebotomy proficient preferred
- Knowledge of drug classifications and respective medication protocol
- KIPU knowledge preferred
- Current CPR Certification
- Proof of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or obtaining
Essential Job Function of the Registered Nurse - Nights
- Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, including transcribing and administering routine and prescribed medications in accordance with procedures established by the Medical Director and Director of Nursing
- Excels at performing vigilant observation
- Completes documentation of patients' medical histories and current symptoms
- Specializes in the provision of pain management treatment through the initial process of detoxification
