Leading Construction company / General Contractor seeks capable individual for Project Accounting opportunity. This position has come about due to an internal promotion, it will report to the Controller of this friendly organization. Role to include: -Responsible for billing projects of various projects and tracking their financial progress -Setting up project binders for each job and maintaining all documentation -Inputting contract information and budgets into company accounting system -Generating AIA billings to owners -Inputting change orders, material purchase orders, purchase orders and sub mods -Preparing and reconciling month end close or AR and retention receivable As the above list demonstrates, prior experience within a construction company is essential for this position. You will have a working knowledge of construction / project accounting and strong month end experience. At least 5 yrs experience working for a general contractor is required.
